JIAN WU

Mr Jian Wu is well known for his achievements in the petro-chemical industry in China.
He founded the Kunming Jianqiang Industrial Development Corporation, establishing a refinery to produce lubricants for vehicles and industrial uses. Over ten years as its Chairman and General Manager, the company grew to a value of US$30m. He subsequently founded Guangxi Dongyou Co. Ltd., establishing an oil refinery producing petro-chemical products for Chinese markets. Within five years the company had 500 employees and grew to value US$200m.
Mr Wu was born in Hunan, China and gained a BSc in Construction Engineering at Hunan University. He gained wide experience as a Technical Director in the property construction field before moving into the petro-chemical industry. He is currently based in Vancouver and travels frequently to China and Australia. |

RUSSELL BRIMAGE

Russell Brimage has in excess of 30 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He was a founding Director of Oilserv AustraliaLimited, a company providing drilling, well testing and production services. Prior tojoining Lion Energy he was Chief Executive of Western Resources NL and General Manager of a Western Australian gas field operator. |

WEIDONG ZHANG

Weidong obtained his Ph.D degree in chemical engineering from University of Auckland in 1992 and had since worked for Rio Tinto’s Comalco Limited for 5 years involving in process development and later its aluminium smelting operation. Weidong has had considerable commercial experience since joining Sino Mining International Limited in Sydney in 1997 working in the corporate finance area and later business development in international resources industry. Weidong assumed general management of its alumina subsidiary, Sino Mining Alumina Limited, since 2001.
Weidong is also a director of other three Australian resources-related companies and is a member of TMS and APESMA. |

Over the last 25 years, Mr Toby has held senior management positions in a variety of public companies in a range of industries. He has been a company secretary and chief financial officer of listed public companies for over 20 years. In these roles he has been involved in the consolidation, growth and remodelling of public companies, and his communication skills have been a benefit to both directors and shareholders. Mr Toby is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and an Associate of the Australian Computer Society.
